We’re hiring a Chief of Staff on behalf of a high-growth, venture-backed partner building an AI-driven platform that supports critical industries powering the built environment. This is a highly visible, high-impact role working directly alongside the founders, with meaningful ownership across operations, strategy, and execution.
 
Why this role is exciting
This is not a “note taker” Chief of Staff role. It’s a build-and-own seat for someone who wants to be in the middle of everything: helping scale operations, supporting acquisitions, and creating systems that make the business run faster and smarter.
 
You’ll be based onsite in New York City, working closely with leadership day-to-day to drive momentum and get high-leverage work done quickly.
 
What you’ll be doing
As Chief of Staff, you’ll support the founders while taking direct ownership of core business initiatives, including:

  • Acting as a trusted thought partner on strategic and day-to-day decision making
  • Supporting acquisition efforts, including diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition execution
  • Running core internal operations like budgeting, vendors, and recruiting coordination
  • Building, streamlining, and automating internal processes such as reporting, workflows, and systems
  • Preparing updates and communicating key insights to investors, board members, and internal leadership

This role is best suited for someone who is both analytical and decisive, with strong business instincts and the confidence to operate independently.
 
We’d love to speak with you if you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or high-growth operations
  • A strong ownership mindset and a bias toward action
  • The ability to make smart decisions with incomplete information
  • Comfort moving between finance, people ops, recruiting, and strategy throughout the day
  • M&A or post-merger integration experience (preferred, not required)
  • Real excitement about building something meaningful and durable

Compensation

  • $175,000 to $225,000 base salary
  • Equity included
  • Full-time, onsite in New York City
