About the Role: We are looking for a Retail Media Director to join our rapidly growing team at Within! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of Amazon marketing, along with other major marketplaces and will be responsible for overseeing the management of client accounts and ensuring that they are achieving their performance goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Quickly understanding client product market, performance goals, and growth opportunities
  • Developing and executing promotional strategies around key Amazon Event windows such as Prime Day, Holidays, Cyber Monday, etc.
  • Managing Amazon specific advertising opportunities such as search, display, OTT, and more
  • Creating learning objectives to drive continuous performance improvement through testing and analysis
  • Anticipating client needs and questions to quickly address concerns and assist team members in developing client responses
  • Attending client and agency meetings to present long-term results, campaign strategies, and incremental performance tactics
  • Presenting weekly performance and proactively explaining changes internally and externally
  • Monitoring, tracking, and evaluating account performance and relevant KPIs through internal and client-side analytics
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, focusing on how these changes can be leveraged to drive account improvements.
  • Owning and constantly improving QA processes to ensure the accuracy of each campaign from pre-launch to mid-flight and recap
  • Evangelizing relevant and notable learnings, best practices and operating procedures across teams within the agency
  • Maintaining product detail pages and regular inventory forecasts to support client success and expansion
  • Developing positive relationships focused on retaining clients and employees
  • Analyzing complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans and recommendations to solve client challenges
  • Managing and mentoring a team to ensure they are achieving their performance goals and professional development objectives
  • Pitching to new potential clients; Leading account audits and presentations, along with pricing & contract negotiations
  • Owning channel financials

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Amazon Marketing Services – Vendor Central and/or Seller Central
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce and digital best practices, including a general understanding of campaign reporting and analytics
  • Solid educational background in critical thinking and quantitative analysis
  • Ability to drive initiatives forward with limited supervision
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employees
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills such as pivot tables, chart building, macros, and more
  • Positive, can-do attitude with experience in effective communication and fostering teamwork
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with numerous competing priorities
  • Proven track record of developing positive relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Experience managing a team of account managers, and strategists
