Responsibilities:
As our Senior Manager IT – Identity & Access Management, you’ll play a critical role in managing our identity and access systems, ensuring their efficiency and security. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Identity & Access Management program, overseeing support teams for on-premises and hosted Identity Management technologies.
- Managing the design, implementation, and administration of Active Directory, OKTA, and Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.
- Collaborating with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure seamless service delivery, including incident resolution and system maintenance.
- Developing and maintaining identity and access management policies, procedures, and standards for compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Driving the design, implementation, and enhancement of identity and access management processes to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions.
- Monitoring system performance, resolving issues, and ensuring system availability and reliability.
- Implementing security controls and protocols to protect sensitive data and mitigate risks.
- Streamlining processes, enhancing user experience, and improving operational efficiency in collaboration with IT teams and business units.
- Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing advancements.
- Conducting regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with IT Security policies and regulatory standards like SOX, NIST, etc.
- Collaborating with external vendors and service providers for effective service delivery.
- Providing strategic guidance to senior leadership on identity management initiatives, including planning and budgeting.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10-12 years of IT infrastructure experience, with a focus on identity and access management.
- Strong team management experience, especially with Active Directory, OKTA, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Proven experience collaborating with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for IT infrastructure services.
- In-depth knowledge and administration experience with Active Directory, OKTA, and Delinea PAM solutions.
- Advanced administration skills in Active Directory, including user provisioning, group policy management, and security administration.
- Experience with cloud and SaaS operations, especially regarding identity and access management.
- Progressive IT experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in GxP (Good Practices) regulated environments, such as pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.

- Familiarity with public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and best practices.
- Relevant certifications (MCSE, VCP, PMP, CISSP, or cloud provider certifications).
- Experience with data integration between systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion HRC, Active Directory).
- Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems (e.g., Clear Skye, SailPoint, Saviynt).
