Senior Staff Accountant – Remote (US)

What you’ll be doing
• Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Preparing timely and accurate reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany balances, and other balance sheet accounts
• Maintaining detailed reconciliations for prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and fixed assets
• Managing the general ledger and ensuring transactions are properly recorded and classified
• Supporting audits with clear documentation and thoughtful explanations
• Partnering with management on financial analysis and ad hoc projects
• Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
 
What we’re looking for
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 to 4 or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and month-end close
• Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, and A2X
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
