As Senior Data Engineer, you will be the builder behind the data infrastructure that enables smarter, faster decision-making across the business. From pipeline optimization to real-time insights, your expertise will ensure the company can move quickly while staying precise and scalable.
What You’ll Do
- Own and optimize data pipelines, integrations, and infrastructure to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor data flows, implement alerting systems, and design disaster recovery strategies.
- Contribute to overall data architecture and maintain models for operational and analytical use cases.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA while maintaining governance and documentation.
- Partner with business and engineering teams to enable machine learning, advanced analytics, and event tracking.
- Design scalable systems to handle peak traffic periods such as Black Friday and product launches.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in SQL, database schema design, and building optimized data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with tools like dbt, Airflow, Airbyte, or similar platforms.
- Skilled in cloud-based data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Strong understanding of DTC eCommerce data from platforms like Shopify and Google Analytics.
- Experience with server-to-server tracking, data governance, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Comfortable with Git for version control.
- Bonus: experience at high-scale companies or with advanced tracking methods like pixels and cookies.
The Details
- Job Type: Full-Time, Remote (US-based)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 am – 6 pm EST
- Compensation: $175K – $200K
