The Director of Web Development will lead our web development practice in Marketing while actively participating in development projects. Looking for a detail-oriented individual capable of managing a team and executing development tasks at the high-level. The ideal candidate excels in team leadership, website development, and possesses strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients. MUST BE A WORDPRESS EXPERT
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor development staff.
- Define and execute the development practice’s vision.
- Stay current with industry trends and enhance our development services.
- Maintain and enhance our agency’s base theme.
- Efficiently plan and execute development projects.
- Develop custom WordPress websites.
- Support business development through website quote preparation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing a development team.
- EXPERT in WordPress development at an advanced level.
- Proficiency in custom WordPress theme development.
- Ability to strategize and execute website plans.
- Familiarity with open-source tech stack in a LAMP environment.
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Knowledge of hosting environment tools such as cPanel and WHM.
- Proven ability to run a team.
