We’re supporting a 40+-year global company in the consumer electronics industry to find a talented & hard-working E-Commerce Lead to join the team.
 
Position Overview:
As the E-Commerce Lead, you will implement strategies to enable online transactions. Your duties entail structuring, conceptualizing, and executing marketing plans for the website.
Responsibilities:

  • Generate and refine product content destined for publication on various e-Commerce platforms.
  • Establish benchmarks, protocols, and optimal methodologies for the introduction, creation, dissemination, and upkeep of new product listings and associated content.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse teams, including product development, design, and sales, to furnish current and compelling content for dissemination across e-commerce channels.
  • Offer assistance across additional domains such as Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, and Paid Social Media.
  • Serve as a subject matter authority for designated product categories.
  • Discern and advocate for effective practices concerning inventory management, pre-orders, and pricing strategies.
  • Utilize web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (utilizing features such as pivot tables and vlookups) to monitor shifts in product sales and maintain organizational efficiency.
  • Oversee all facets of e-commerce operations until the establishment of a comprehensive team.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in multitasking, meeting deadlines, and upholding meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a dynamic e-commerce environment.
  • Proficiency in hands-on management and maintenance of e-Commerce websites and portals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of e-commerce dynamics, encompassing marketing strategies, product development, competitive analysis, consumer insights, industry trends, and usability principles.
  • Familiarity with web design principles and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and adeptness in multitasking.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills being advantageous.
  • Capability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to excel both independently and within a team setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline.
  • On-site presence required, remote work not applicable.
