About the Role:
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for security and a knack for managing high-performing teams? We are seeking a Security Engineering Manager to join our expanding Information Security team. This is a newly created position, designed to support the growth of our Security Operations team. Reporting to the Information Security Senior Manager, who in turn reports directly to the Director of IT Security, you will play a pivotal role in our day-to-day security operations and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily security operations, ensuring the highest standards of protection for our company.
- Lead and mentor a small team, including potential oversight of roles like the Information Security Architect.
- Support the Information Security Senior Manager by managing operational tasks, enabling them to focus on strategic initiatives for the future.
- Act as a key point of contact for security-related matters across the firm, interacting confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong people manager with a focus on customer/client service and an ability to foster positive relationships.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams, with a background in networking, firewalls, cloud security, web proxy, CASB, and more.
- A strategic thinker who understands the importance of protecting firm and client information, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- A technical background is essential, but the ability to lead and inspire is what will set you apart.
