Our client is a family-owned company that proudly owns and operates a portfolio of brands made in the USA. They are dedicated to quality products, operational excellence, and innovation. They predominantly sell their products on Amazon as a 3rd party marketplace seller and are growing our presence in brick and mortar retail. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Manager to support our COO in various operational functions.
Role Overview: The Ecommerce Operations Manager will play a crucial role in the smooth running of daily operations, assisting with purchasing, production, logistics, data entry, and inventory management. This position requires someone who is organized, proactive, and capable of juggling multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Production:
- Manage raw materials and components inventory.
- Place and track orders with manufacturers.
- Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Logistics:
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with logistics providers.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues that arise.
- Coordinate wholesale orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
Data Entry:
- Maintain accurate records in NetSuite, Extensiv/3PL, and SoStocked.
- Perform regular inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Strong Ecommerce background (we will only take your profile into account if you come from an Ecommerce CPG company)
- Prior experience within operations such as purchasing, logistics, or data entry.
- Familiarity with using an inventory system.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
