Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Social Media to lead our brand’s social media presence, drive engagement, and elevate our online community. This role requires a creative leader who understands the apparel industry and knows how to transform brand strategy into compelling social media experiences. You’ll lead a team to develop and execute social media strategies that strengthen brand loyalty, drive customer engagement, and increase overall brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand goals and product launches.
    • Identify and engage with target audiences across key social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.), while exploring new and emerging channels.
  2. Content Creation and Curation
    • Oversee content creation that reflects the brand’s identity, tone, and visual aesthetics, collaborating closely with creative, design, and marketing teams.
    • Implement a mix of original and curated content to drive engagement, promote products, and build community.
  3. Campaign Management
    • Lead social media campaigns from conception to execution, working cross-functionally to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives.
    • Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify reach and brand awareness.
  4. Community Engagement
    • Foster an active online community, encouraging meaningful interactions with followers, addressing inquiries, and maintaining a positive brand image.
    • Develop strategies for user-generated content and advocate for brand loyalty programs.
  5. Analytics and Optimization
    • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure the success of social media initiatives and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Continuously refine strategies based on performance data and market trends to ensure maximum engagement and effectiveness.
  6. Team Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a social media team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, with a focus on the apparel or fashion industry.
  • Proven track record of creating successful social media strategies and campaigns.
