About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the marketing strategy for a growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand. This is a confidential search for a highly visible leadership role that requires a deep understanding of brand building, innovative marketing, and scaling businesses in the CPG space. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving growth and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives brand growth, market share, and profitability.
  • Brand Development: Enhance brand equity through compelling storytelling, consistent messaging, and innovative campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Product Launches: Lead the marketing efforts for new product development, ensuring successful market entry and adoption.
  • Performance Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including paid media, SEO, social media, and eCommerce, to maximize ROI and customer acquisition.
  • Consumer Insights: Leverage data and research to understand consumer behavior and preferences, ensuring marketing strategies are data-driven and customer-focused.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to amplify brand presence.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to achieve the highest impact.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to maintain the brand’s relevance and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally within the CPG industry.
  • Demonstrated success in brand building, market expansion, and delivering revenue growth.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, eCommerce, and omnichannel strategies.
