We’re partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company to find a high-impact Account Executive who thrives in a consultative, credibility-driven sales environment. This is a unique opportunity to sell a product that genuinely improves how contractors operate, helping them protect margins, streamline purchasing, and run more efficient projects.
 
If you understand the realities of the construction or MEP world and know how to translate that into meaningful business conversations, this role offers the chance to build something significant while driving real results for your customers.
 
What You’ll Be Doing
You will own a defined territory and take full responsibility for generating and closing new business with contractors. This is not a transactional sales role. Success comes from understanding how your customers actually run their businesses and showing them tangible financial impact.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Building and managing a strong pipeline through outbound efforts, distributor relationships, local market research, and industry events
  • Running sharp, consultative discovery conversations with owners, CFOs, purchasing leaders, and operations teams
  • Learning how contractors manage materials, purchasing, and job costing, then tying that to ROI-driven conversations
  • Delivering tailored product demonstrations grounded in real operational insight
  • Managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles across field, warehouse, and back-office teams
  • Negotiating deals with integrity and setting customers up for long-term success post-sale
  • Consistently exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Sharing frontline insights with internal teams to help shape product and go-to-market strategy

What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who can speak the language of contractors and earn trust quickly across different environments.
 
You’ll likely excel if you:

  • Have experience in construction, MEP contracting, distribution, or related industries
  • Understand job costing, purchasing workflows, and the operational challenges contractors face
  • Bring a strong track record of consistent quota achievement in a sales role
  • Are disciplined in managing your territory and pipeline like your own business
  • Can confidently engage both field teams early in the morning and executives later in the day
  • Are naturally curious, coachable, and empathetic in your approach
  • Are competitive, optimistic, and motivated to build a long-term career in sales
  • Are comfortable using technology and selling software solutions

Compensation & Work Setup

  • Location: Omaha, Nebraska or Remote within the United States
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Travel: Up to 30 percent for client meetings and industry events
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission
  • Additional Details: Standard full-time benefits package included
