We are working with a Tier 2 tech-services company that is seeking a highly accomplished, high-performing Sales Professional to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by maintaining our competitive and innovative edge. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales potential by crafting and executing strategic sales plans, aiming to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
Responsibilities:

  • Experience in selling IT services in the American market, specifically to financial services.
  • Set and achieve quarterly, half-yearly, and annual sales targets.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan to expand the company’s customer base and ensure a strong market presence.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while staying aware of new products and competitive status.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs.
  • Develop client relationships at the CXO level and sell solutions, professional services, and enterprise software applications.
  • Formulate account development strategies, manage contract negotiations, and ensure timely delivery to clients.
  • Use creativity and vision to uncover and handle new business opportunities.
  • Possess good industry experience and a successful track record with target accounts.
  • Apply change management expertise to develop a solution-selling model at strategic, business, and partner levels.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions and demonstrate excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Achieve success in building and leading India sales through strong relationships with key purchasing and decision-makers.

Requirements & Skills:

  • BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering, sales, business administration, or a related field.
  • 8-15 years of successful experience in IT sales.
  • Proven track record in selling technology services, software engineering services, digital transformation, IT managed/outsourced services, cloud, and data & analytics.
  • Experience selling to customers in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in closing large, multi-year contracts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influence skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for field visits to meet prospects and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Willingness to work on-site at the Edison office at least three times a week.
