Title: Paid Media Manager 
Location: Carlsbad, CA 
Schedule: Full-time, hybrid schedule (3/2) 
Salary Range: $130K-175K (DOE) 
Position Overview
Hiring company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Paid Media Manager to join their marketing team. This role is crucial in driving our performance marketing strategy across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing paid media campaigns, including social media advertising, search advertising, Amazon Advertising, and media buying. Company spends an average of $200,000 monthly on these three platforms. 
 
Key Responsibilities
 

  • Performance Marketing: Develop, implement, and manage full-funnel performance marketing strategies to drive profitable growth and ROI across various digital channels. 
  • Social Media Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and other social platform testing. Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize campaign and ad creative effectiveness. 
  • Search Advertising: Manage and optimize PPC search advertising campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. Conduct keyword research, ad copy creation, campaign development and bid management to achieve target KPIs. Familiar with all formats: Search, Shopping, Display, Video and Pmax. 
  • Amazon Advertising: Develop and execute advertising strategies on Amazon to increase product visibility, drive traffic, and increase incremental sales. Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments. 
  • Media Buying: Identify and negotiate with media vendors to secure cost-effective advertising placements. Manage media buying budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Budget Management: maximize platform budget allocations and be accountable for overall media KPI’s to maximize growth and profitability. 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of all paid media campaigns. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. 
  • Ad Creative Development & AB Testing: Provide feedback loop on ad creatives for new ad requests, iterations and AB testing to impact advertising ROAS. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team and external partners to develop compelling ad creatives. Collaborate with the eCommerce and product teams to align marketing efforts with business goals. 

 
Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in paid media management, with a focus on eCommerce performance marketing across all platforms (in-house or agency) 
  • Proven experience managing social media advertising (Meta, TikTok) and search advertising (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads). 
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Advertising. 
  • Experience with attribution and media mix modeling 
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Excellent communication and project management skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Google Ads and Facebook Blueprint certifications are a plus.
