Position Overview: The Merchandiser will be responsible for planning and executing merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and drive sales across various retail channels. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing market trends, and ensuring that our products are presented in a compelling and accessible manner to consumers.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Plan and Implement Merchandising Strategies:
    • Develop and execute merchandising plans that align with the brand’s objectives and marketing strategies.
    • Create visually appealing product displays and layouts to enhance customer engagement and sales.
    • Ensure consistent brand representation across all retail locations.
  • Retail Execution:
    • Visit retail locations to assess product placement, stock levels, and display conditions.
    • Work closely with store managers and staff to ensure optimal product presentation.
    • Implement promotional displays and ensure they are set up correctly and on time.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align merchandising efforts with overall business goals.
    • Communicate effectively with retail partners to ensure compliance with merchandising plans.
    • Provide feedback and insights to the product development team based on customer and market observations.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform merchandising strategies.
    • Prepare and present reports on merchandising performance, including sales data, stock levels, and promotional effectiveness.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to enhance merchandising effectiveness.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained at all retail locations.
    • Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to manage inventory flow and replenishment.
    • Address any stock-related issues promptly to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail merchandising principles and best practices.
  • Excellent visual design and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
