About Us:

Our client is a fast-growing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brand, committed to delivering exceptional products and experiences to customers. They leverage Shopify as their primary eCommerce platform and focus on scaling the business through data-driven marketing strategies. We are seeking a motivated and versatile Growth Marketing Manager to lead customer acquisition and retention efforts. This role will initially involve managing media buying until the marketing team is built out.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Buying & Campaign Execution

  • Manage and execute paid media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, and other digital channels.
  • Optimize campaigns for customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Develop A/B testing frameworks for ad creatives, targeting, and landing pages to improve performance.
  • Track and report on campaign KPIs (ROAS, CAC, CTR), providing insights and data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Growth Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive traffic, sales, and customer retention across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, product, analytics) to ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and the overall brand strategy.
  • Create and optimize marketing funnels across paid media, email, and SMS to improve conversion rates and boost sales.

Shopify Management & Optimization

  • Oversee the Shopify store, ensuring campaigns and promotions are properly integrated with the eCommerce experience.
  • Collaborate with product and web development teams to optimize the customer experience, including product page enhancements and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Drive customer acquisition through paid channels, influencer partnerships, email marketing, and affiliate programs.
  • Implement retention strategies such as loyalty programs, personalized email flows, and post-purchase communications to boost customer lifetime value.

Data & Analytics

  • Monitor and analyze data from marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights to continuously improve performance.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and Facebook Ads Manager to measure success and identify growth opportunities.

Team Leadership & Growth

  • As the company scales, help build and lead a growth marketing team including media buyers, content creators, and analysts.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members once hired.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in growth marketing or digital marketing for a DTC brand, with hands-on Shopify experience.
  • Strong experience in media buying across digital platforms (Facebook, Google, Instagram, TikTok) with a proven track record of driving customer acquisition and increasing ROAS.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS) and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Shopify, Google Analytics, and marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Hotjar, or similar.
  • Experience with email marketing, SMS campaigns, and retention strategies.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to execute A/B testing and optimize ad creatives for various audiences.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and wear multiple hats.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience scaling a DTC eCommerce brand from the ground up.
