Inventory Manager – Hybrid [MI]

They’re looking for an Inventory Manager (Planner/Buyer) who enjoys solving supply chain challenges, improving processes, and taking full ownership of inventory planning from forecasting through replenishment.

What You’ll Do

• Own day-to-day supply chain operations across assigned brands, including purchase order tracking, vendor communication, warehouse coordination, and replenishment activities.
• Develop and manage 3, 6, and 9 month inventory and purchasing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Forecast SKU-level demand to maintain healthy inventory levels while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
• Monitor sales trends, inventory performance, and replenishment timelines.
• Collaborate with brand partners and internal teams to resolve supply chain challenges.
• Track product launches, inventory transitions, and liquidation activities with cross-functional teams.
• Manage and mentor supply chain virtual assistants by assigning work, ensuring quality, and improving recurring workflows.
• Partner directly with leadership to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop, maintain, and refine supply chain documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate freight quotes and shipment logistics alongside warehouse operations.
• Continuously expand your knowledge of ecommerce operations, inventory management, and supply chain best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 2 to 5 years of experience in ecommerce operations, supply chain, inventory planning, purchasing, logistics, or a similar operational role.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using spreadsheets, dashboards, and operational reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing or coordinating junior team members or virtual assistants is preferred.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and drive solutions independently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 per year
• Full-time, exempt position
• Hybrid work arrangement based in Ypsilanti, MI
