Overview
My client seeks an Enterprise Application Administrator who will report to the CIO. The primary role involves serving as the technical lead for implementing and managing Dynamics 365 environments, including Finance and Operations (F&O) and CE modules, along with associated business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership and Administration:

  • Serve as the system administrator for Dynamics 365 (F&O) and CE within the IT team, managing business expectations and liaising with stakeholders to manage changes in line with appropriate controls.
  • Configure, customize, and integrate solutions with in-house and third-party applications.
  • Manage deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of Dynamics 365, add-ons, and associated business applications.
  • Oversee Power Platform environments, ensuring their deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain environments in Azure.

System Performance and Data Stewardship:

  • Facilitate data stewardship between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other systems.
  • Ensure optimal performance and reliability of Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications (F&O and CE).
  • Implement and manage security policies to ensure data integrity and protect against unauthorized access.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct regular assessments, and implement performance-tuning strategies to enhance system responsiveness.

Support and Collaboration:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing inquiries related to Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation and operation of Microsoft Dynamics solutions and associated systems.
  • Coordinate and manage integration requirements with required business applications.
  • Collaborate with the IT support team to create a support structure and release cadence to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide technical support for the data platform and its integration with D365.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize existing processes and systems using the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to data privacy, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide recommendations and enhance Dynamics 365 capabilities through communication with key stakeholders.

Required Experience and Skills:
Experience and Technical Proficiency:

  • At least 10 years of related working experience with proficiency in Microsoft D365 Administration (F&O and CE modules).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with many Microsoft products, including Dynamics 365 (Both F&O and CE modules), Azure, Power Platform, etc.
  • Understanding of Security Roles within D365 and Lifecycle Management in D365.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft DevOps (ADO).

Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of integration requirements, security protocols, data privacy, and regulatory compliance related to enterprise architecture, D365, and Microsoft Power Platform.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients and other stakeholders when required.
  • Exhibits resourcefulness, independent action, and judgment that are appropriate for the position.
  • Professional handling of exposure to confidential/sensitive information.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in the face of changing demands.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to commute a minimum of 2 times a week to Bridgewater, and once a month or as needed to the NYC office.
  • Availability to travel as needed (may require travel within the United States).
