We are seeking a talented Magento Developer to join our team and contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Magento 2 e-commerce platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and leverage cutting-edge technologies.
Location:

  • Only WI and IL. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement features using Magento 2 eCommerce, including configuration and data transfers through API integration.
  • Address and troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and conduct testing to ensure new functionality aligns with business requirements, security, and quality standards.
  • Lead and guide a development team, ensuring collaborative efforts and leveraging individual strengths.
  • Actively participate in solution design and deployment activities.
  • Align development initiatives with strategic goals.
  • Contribute to the ongoing support and enhancement of the Magento eCommerce platform.
  • Desirable skills include exposure to Laravel and familiarity with system integrations (e.g., SAP, HubSpot, ShipperHQ, external data sources).

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of development experience with Magento 2.
  • Proficient understanding of Magento’s code structure, API creation/integration, and architecture.
  • Experience with data interfaces and integration (Webservices, API) between Magento 2 and MySQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, and AWS architecture.
  • Strong system and data analysis skills.
  • Bachelor’s (or Associates) Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Preferred Magento 2 Certification(s).
  • Additional consideration for full-stack experience.
  • Desirable skills include demonstrable proficiency in PHP and SQL.
  • Bonus points for front-end Magento experience, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
