The Manager of Web Development will oversee the web development practice and handle their own development work. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage a team while also working on development projects. The ideal candidate will excel in both team management and building exceptional websites, with strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor development staff
- Shape and execute the vision for the development practice
- Stay updated on industry trends and enhance development services
- Maintain and improve the agency’s base theme
- Plan and execute development projects efficiently
- Develop custom WordPress websites
- Support business development through website quote preparation
Requirements:
- Strong experience managing a development team
- Expert-level WordPress development skills
- Experience with custom WordPress theme development
- Ability to strategize and execute website plans
- Familiarity with open-source tech stack in a LAMP environment
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Familiarity with hosting environment tools like cPanel and WHM
