My client, a platinum-level Microsoft partner renowned for delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to a diverse client base. We are currently seeking a skilled Pre-sales Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with customers to determine technical requirements, feasibility, and expectations.
- Strategize with prospects and customers to develop solutions based on a variety of criteria, including clear descriptions of services, functionality, scalability, future-proofing, and cost.
- Partner with the sales team to help qualify opportunities, determine strategy, and close deals.
- Design and communicate compelling solutions that urge prospects to take the desired action.
- Serve as a technology advisor/solution architect for customer teams.
- Create and present powerful and convincing proposals in the form of presentations and statements of work documents to align with client requirements and implementation plans.
- Act as an Advisor and Engagement Lead for customers and delivery teams.
- Bridge the gap between customer teams and the client’s delivery team to ensure client satisfaction and overall successful client implementation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing sales engineering role with a professional services company.
- Prior experience working in a similar role with a top-tier Microsoft partner firm.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and operate with minimum information and clarity.
- Excellent technical presentation skills, including proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations, proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and architecture/solution diagrams.
- Ability to conceptualize and present technology solutions based on business problems, situations, and vision.
- Experience in creating high-level development estimates and scope of work documents given a set of requirements and assumptions.
- Strong background in application and system architecture design using design patterns like Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and multi-tenancy.
- Extensive experience in large-scale application development and architecture using microservices, Kubernetes, integration hubs, API integration, PaaS services, IoT, and event-driven architecture.
- Strong knowledge, experience, and expertise in Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), DevOps, and DevSecOps.
- Proficiency in data platform architecture including Synapse, Databricks, and Fabric, with knowledge of Azure AI and OpenAI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
