Product Designer – Hybrid (San Francico)

We are partnering with a fast-growing technology company to find a Senior Product Designer to help shape and simplify complex product experiences. This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco, with four days per week in the office, and offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, product, and engineering to design solutions that directly impact a rapidly growing platform.
 
This is a high ownership role for a designer who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and turning them into intuitive, well structured product experiences. You will work closely with the CEO, product leadership, and engineers to bring clarity to complex workflows and ensure the product remains simple, efficient, and useful for its users.

What You Will Do

• Take ambiguous product problems and transform them into clear, structured user experiences
• Lead design work end to end from early concept and whiteboard exploration through polished product solutions
• Inject strong product thinking into fast moving conversations with leadership, product, and engineering
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver pragmatic, high impact solutions
• Design product flows across complex systems including payments, underwriting, and financial infrastructure
• Validate ideas through customer insights and real user feedback
• Explore interactive ideas using modern AI-native design tools such as v0, Loveable, or similar tools
• Help the team move quickly while maintaining thoughtful and coherent product design

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in product design, preferably within fintech, payments, logistics, or other complex systems
• Experience working as the sole designer or leading design independently within a product team
• Ability to move from rough concepts to structured flows and polished solutions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain the reasoning behind design decisions
• A product-first mindset focused on clarity, usability, and real customer impact
• Comfort working in fast paced environments where process may be lightweight but expectations are high
• Curiosity and willingness to challenge assumptions in order to improve the product

Compensation and Employment Details

• Location: San Francisco
• Work Setup: Hybrid, four days per week in office
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary Range: $170,000 to $200,000 base salary
• Additional Compensation: Equity and performance bonus opportunities
