Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects that drive production efficiency, product quality, and operational excellence. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to manufacturing improvements, new product launches, and facility upgrades. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Lead manufacturing projects from concept to completion, including resource allocation, timeline development, budget management, and risk mitigation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, quality assurance, procurement, and leadership teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Schedule Management: Develop detailed project schedules, set milestones, and ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements during the project lifecycle and implement best practices to enhance production capabilities.
• Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, generate project status reports, and conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project success, utilizing data-driven decision-making to overcome challenges.
• Compliance: Ensure that all project activities adhere to industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
• Project Management Skills:
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (such as PMI, Agile).
  • Proven experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to understand technical specifications and production needs.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to manage risks and troubleshoot issues effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
• Lean/Continuous Improvement: Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, or similar process improvement frameworks.
• Industry Experience: Background in Manufacturing is a plus.
• ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems used in manufacturing (such as SAP, Syteline, Oracle).
