What You’ll Do:
- Stick to the client’s core values and service standards.
- Analyze financial statements and solve complex issues using the latest tools.
- Spot opportunities, solve problems, and offer smart solutions to clients.
- Understand client operations to improve their internal controls and processes.
- Communicate your findings clearly to both your team and clients.
- Build great relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Mentor staff and interns, guiding them through detailed engagements.
- Stay on top of relevant software to keep projects efficient.
- Be budget-savvy and mindful of project economics.
- Participate in advanced training and professional organizations.
- Help with client development, marketing, and recruiting.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA preferred.
- 2 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of auditing standards, GAAP, and industry rules.
- Experience with paperless auditing software is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong research, organization, and communication skills.
- Experience with Caseware and McGladrey methodology is a bonus.
- Ability to meet budgets and deadlines.
