The primary responsibility of this role is to maximize sales by developing effective merchandise plans that align with company goals for sales, ROI, and margin expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) for DTC products and wholesale sample inventory.
- Forecast sales, markdowns, receipts, IMU, and gross margin based on current sales trends and planning.
- Conduct attribute planning.
- Summarize weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance vs. plan at brand and attribute levels.
- Analyze style count and productivity.
- Maintain style count plans by brand and channel type.
- Support buying and production teams with necessary systems and views.
- Conduct seasonal hindsight analysis to support design plans and future OTB.
- Assist design and buying teams with attribute, sizing, and price point analysis to build new assortments.
- Prepare financial recaps for investment reviews.
- Forecast, manage, and execute markdowns and promotions.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in merchandising/planning.
- Experience in buying or store management is a plus.
Job Skills:
- Expertise in retail math concepts and applications.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products, including Excel, SharePoint, and Word.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business-related field preferred. While a formal education is valued, we are primarily interested in your total experience and professional accomplishments.
