The primary responsibility of this role is to maximize sales by developing effective merchandise plans that align with company goals for sales, ROI, and margin expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) for DTC products and wholesale sample inventory.
  • Forecast sales, markdowns, receipts, IMU, and gross margin based on current sales trends and planning.
  • Conduct attribute planning.
  • Summarize weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance vs. plan at brand and attribute levels.
  • Analyze style count and productivity.
  • Maintain style count plans by brand and channel type.
  • Support buying and production teams with necessary systems and views.
  • Conduct seasonal hindsight analysis to support design plans and future OTB.
  • Assist design and buying teams with attribute, sizing, and price point analysis to build new assortments.
  • Prepare financial recaps for investment reviews.
  • Forecast, manage, and execute markdowns and promotions.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in merchandising/planning.
  • Experience in buying or store management is a plus.


Job Skills:

  • Expertise in retail math concepts and applications.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products, including Excel, SharePoint, and Word.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business-related field preferred. While a formal education is valued, we are primarily interested in your total experience and professional accomplishments.
