Shopify Developer – Remote (CA/US)

We are partnering with a fast-growing, product-focused organization to find a Shopify Developer who is passionate about building high-performing eCommerce experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the Shopify ecosystem deeply and wants to have a direct impact on how customers interact with a brand online.
 
The Opportunity
As a Shopify Developer, you will take ownership of developing, optimizing, and scaling Shopify stores that drive revenue and enhance user experience. You will work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to bring ideas to life and continuously improve site performance.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both the technical and creative sides of eCommerce and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
 
What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Build and optimize Shopify storefronts for performance, usability, and conversion
• Implement new features, landing pages, and UI enhancements
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and tools within the Shopify ecosystem
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues across the site
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns and site updates
• Ensure responsive design and seamless user experience across devices
• Monitor and improve site speed, SEO, and overall performance

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar eCommerce development role
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience customizing Shopify themes and building from scratch
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs and app integrations
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion optimization
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience in high-growth eCommerce or DTC environments
• Familiarity with headless commerce or Shopify Plus
• Exposure to analytics tools and A/B testing
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices
