We are partnering with a fast growing home lifestyle brand to hire a Trade  Manager who will build and scale a high impact trade channel from the ground up. This is not a maintenance role. This is a zero to one build for someone who thrives on ownership, structure, and results.

The Opportunity
As Trade Leader, you will own the full trade and wholesale strategy across designers, contractors, builders and developers, showrooms, and rep networks. You will design the playbook, implement the systems, and drive execution.
 
This role blends commercial leadership with operational buildout. You will define ideal customer profiles, create segmentation and go to market plans, implement CRM and forecasting processes, and establish clear KPIs aligned to an accountability driven operating system. You will also shape national rep coverage and build scalable partner enablement tools.
 
You will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Marketing to ensure that growth is supported by strong execution and a seamless customer experience.
 
What You Will Be Responsible For
Trade Strategy and Channel Buildout

  • Build and execute the trade and wholesale growth strategy from scratch
  • Define target segments and ideal customer profiles
  • Develop trade programs, pricing tiers, and activation playbooks
  • Establish scalable acquisition and activation frameworks

Process, Systems, and Pipeline Management

  • Implement and own the CRM and pipeline process including tracking and forecasting
  • Define funnel stages, KPIs, and reporting cadence
  • Build repeatable outreach and account development systems
  • Create visibility and accountability across the entire trade funnel

Rep Network and Partnerships

  • Build and manage rep agency relationships across key regions
  • Develop territory plans and performance management frameworks
  • Create onboarding and enablement tools to drive productivity
  • Launch and scale national coverage strategy

Team and Cross Functional Leadership

  • Lead and grow a small internal support function
  • Align internal teams around trade priorities and forecasts
  • Ensure operational readiness to support growth
  • Scale headcount strategically as the channel expands

What Success Looks Like in Year One

  • CRM, pipeline, reporting cadence, and core trade processes fully implemented
  • Rep strategy launched with traction in priority regions
  • Consistent quarterly growth supported by accurate forecasting
  • Trade channel established as a reliable, repeatable revenue engine

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in trade or wholesale business development, sales leadership, or channel growth
  • Strong experience building processes, CRM systems, funnels, and forecasting models
  • Background in home goods, fixtures, or building materials is strongly preferred
  • High ownership mindset with comfort operating in a fast moving environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within an EOS environment is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable
