VP of Growth (CPG, onsite Newark NJ)

We are seeking a Vice President of Growth to spearhead our growth strategy, explore and capitalize on new market opportunities, and enhance our customer acquisition and retention processes. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and involves leading cross-functional teams to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives.
  • Identify and assess new market opportunities, channels, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve ambitious growth targets.

Customer Acquisition & Retention:

  • Oversee the creation and implementation of customer acquisition strategies across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Implement effective retention strategies to enhance customer lifetime value.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to refine targeting and improve conversion rates.

Product & Market Expansion:

  • Lead market research initiatives to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Work with product development teams to introduce new products and improve existing ones.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches.

Performance Optimization:

  • Utilize data analytics to measure and optimize marketing and sales performance.
  • Implement A/B testing and other techniques to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Continuously refine growth strategies based on data-driven insights.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing growth team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior growth or marketing role, ideally within the eCommerce sector.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, data analytics, and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Experience in the health and wellness or consumer goods industry is a plus.
