Description: Effectively manage the purchasing and procurement operations by developing an extensive network of reliable and best-in-class value-based vendor partnerships.
- Be professional, ethical, and courteous in all interactions with the customers and employees
- Lead the purchasing team by example and train the team to utilize the ERP system to its full advantage.
- Develop a purchasing strategy for the department
- Develop a broad network of reliable, value-based vendor partnerships and solidify existing ones through regular in-person meetings.
- Seek to negotiate and ensure the best price/value possible through ongoing comparison shopping, regularly implementing a competitive bid process, and utilizing online resources.
- Maintain and update cost tables and pricing with the Syteline ERP system.
- Coordinate with managers to monitor inventory to determine supply needs.
- Administer purchase order entry and processing, double-checking for accuracy.
- Work with Accounts Payable to report accurate information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date job costing in the Syteline ERP system.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred.
- Two to three years’ experience as a purchasing manager or agent.
- Experience using procurement software and databases. Experience with Syteline a plus.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
