Position: IT Applications & Cloud Project Manager

Overview
My client seeks a dynamic Project Manager to oversee the planning, management, and execution of multiple IT applications and cloud-based projects simultaneously. This role demands a hands-on, proactive approach with full responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight and Execution

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, statements of work (SOW), forecasting, and functional specifications.
• Oversee daily operational aspects of projects, ensuring all activities align with the defined scope.
• Facilitate all development phases, from definition and implementation to testing and launch.
• Produce necessary documentation to clearly communicate project parameters and requirements.

Financial and Resource Management

• Identify and manage all project dependencies and budgets.
• Communicate financial aspects effectively with stakeholders.
• Maintain responsibility for budgetary requirements of individual project activities.

Risk and Issue Management

• Identify, address, and resolve project issues and risks promptly.
• Escalate significant roadblocks or risk factors as necessary and initiate corrective actions.

Communication and Collaboration

• Regularly update stakeholders and team members on project status and issues.
• Conduct proactive project status meetings, produce status reports, and facilitate sponsor meetings and communication plans.
• Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Project Management Expertise

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing technology-focused projects.
• Proficient in advanced project management skills, including scope, timeline, and resource management, issue tracking, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Communication and Presentation

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.

Vendor and Financial Management

• Proven vendor management skills.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to articulate financial details to stakeholders.

Technical Knowledge

• Experience with IT applications and cloud-based projects is crucial.
• Familiarity with managing MS Dynamics D365 projects is highly preferred.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Project Management certification or completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred.
