Are you an experienced accountant ready to contribute your expertise to a company celebrating its 20th year anniversary?
We invite you to become a vital part of our dynamic team, operating in multiple locations including Los Angeles, Austin, and Chicago. With our office employee base less than 50, you’ll be joining a close-knit team that’s been part of the international union agreement and consists of 100-300 dedicated union contractors. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an Accountant to support our financial operations.
Role Overview: As our Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in our finance division, ensuring accurate financial transactions, journal entries, and accounting support. With a focus on construction accounting, your expertise will be invaluable. Pivot tables and lookups will be your tools as you navigate the intricacies of our finances. Additionally, you’ll support our CFO in timekeeping, payroll, and other financial responsibilities.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or job-shop accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
- Ability to handle timekeeping and payroll responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
- A collaborative attitude and a willingness to support our financial team.
