Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit accounting, coupled with experience using Sage Intacct software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial management of our organization while making a meaningful difference in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the organization’s financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management and board of directors.
  • Collaborate with program managers to develop and monitor program budgets.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process and provide financial analysis and recommendations as needed.
  • Lead the annual financial audit and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in nonprofit finance.


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a nonprofit setting.
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits:
