Role: Amazon Advertising Manager(s)
Location: San Diego, On-Site
Salary: $80,000 – $120,000
The Amazon Advertising Manager will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of Amazon PPC and DSP campaigns. You’ll analyze performance data, identify opportunities, and implement tactics to scale advertising results. This position requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients or internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, launch, and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP.
- Monitor and manage campaign performance against KPIs such as ROAS, ACOS, TACoS, CTR, and CVR.
- Perform ongoing keyword research, bid optimization, audience segmentation, and budget management.
- Generate and present actionable reports to clients or leadership using tools such as Amazon Advertising Console, DSP dashboards, and Google Sheets.
- Collaborate with brand managers, creative teams, and analysts to align ad strategy with business goals.
- Conduct advertising audits to uncover inefficiencies and new growth opportunities.
- Stay updated on Amazon Ads platform changes and industry trends to proactively adjust strategy.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on advertising best practices and account growth strategies.
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment, performance transparency, and strategic impact.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns (DSP experience highly preferred).
- Deep knowledge of Amazon Ads Console, DSP, and tools like Helium 10, Perpetua, or Pacvue (or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting performance data to drive decisions.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for campaign tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
- Experience managing large-scale ad budgets and delivering strong returns.
- Ability to clearly explain campaign performance and strategic decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
