AV Technical Support Specialist- Up to 85k!!!
Location: NYC – Fully onsite 

About the Role: You’ll be the go-to person for all things tech at our firm’s conference facilities. Your job is to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual (AV) and videoconference (VTC) equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate AV equipment like projectors, microphones, and cameras for meetings.
  • Provide basic tech support for PCs, laptops, and presentations.
  • Manage videoconference setups, including troubleshooting and training users.
  • Educate users on how to use presentation technology.
  • Test and maintain all AV equipment regularly.
  • Keep track of spare parts and equipment inventory.
  • Address technical and housekeeping issues in conference rooms.
  • Assist with IT help desk tickets and work with external vendors when needed.
  • Stay updated on new tech trends related to AV and conferencing.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with AV technology in a professional setting.
  • Customer service experience in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and web conferencing tools like Zoom or WebEx.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Logitech cameras and basic Crestron systems.
  • Knowledge of Tandberg/Cisco, Crestron systems (troubleshooting).
  • Physical ability for the role; occasional travel required.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a law firm or service industry.
  • Relevant training or technical courses.
  • CTS Certification by AVIXA.
