Role Overview:
The eCommerce Merchandising Manager will take charge of managing product listings, crafting innovative merchandising strategies, and enhancing the overall online shopping experience. This pivotal role ensures that products are showcased in the most attractive and effective manner, driving sales and elevating customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Presentation: Oversee the visual and textual presentation of products on the website, ensuring listings are clear, attractive, and persuasive.
  • Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement effective merchandising and promotion strategies that align with marketing goals and highlight seasonal or strategic products.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Design, develop, and implement eCommerce strategies to enhance website performance and optimize conversion rates.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to optimize listings and promotions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with software, sales, and procurement teams to ensure merchandising strategies complement overall business objectives.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Coordinate with the marketing department to develop and execute promotional campaigns that align with inventory levels and consumer demand.
  • Customer Experience: Continuously improve the online shopping experience, focusing on ease of use, informative content, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in eCommerce merchandising to keep the storefront fresh and competitive.

  • Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop strategies that enhance product visibility and drive sales.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and performance metrics.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in both visual and informational product presentation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, web analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; at least 5 years of experience in eCommerce or online merchandising, preferably in a leadership role.
