 We are working with a high growth, Series C SaaS startup that is looking for a Business Development Manager with enterprise experience to add to their team!

This is a REMOTE opportunity.

Position Overview:

Seeking a passionate and seasoned individual to step into the role of Business Development Manager. Join our vibrant team as we strive to nurture client relationships, devise strategic initiatives, and drive favorable outcomes to enhance customer satisfaction and contractual agreements. This position requires seamless collaboration with internal departments to advance our mission of leveraging technology for research in materials and chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with stakeholders across diverse organizational hierarchies
  • Develop customized business cases elucidating investment advantages
  • Tailor value propositions to address specific client needs and cultivate strong connections
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and refine product strategies
  • Drive revenue growth and broaden the account base through meticulous account management
  • Lead the development of proposals and oversee negotiations throughout the sales cycle

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of successful experience in technology sales or business development within B2B environments
  • Strong hunting background and ability to acquire new logos
  • Experience selling to companies within one of the following is required: Aerospace Defense, Government, CPD, Materials / Minerals
  • Minimum of 2 years specializing in account management or solution selling
  • Proficiency in acquiring technical knowledge spanning materials science, chemistry, AI, and business value
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on engaging C-level clients and decision-makers
  • Strong ability to forge relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams to advocate for customer needs
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analysis and problem-solving, coupled with a high level of business acumen
