We are partnered with a category leader to hire a Marketplace Manager This is an essential role within that is dedicated to fostering profitable expansion across various online marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, and more. The role encompasses leading business operations, merchandising, and sales efforts to elevate the customer experiience on both 3P and 1P eCommerce platforms. Responsibilities include enhancing the digital footprint across all channels through the selection and management of partners and spearheading the development of content optimized for mobile viewing. The Marketplace Manager collaborates closely with the sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer support teams to establish processes that bolster eCommerce growth.

Amazon growth acceleration

  • Manage and optimize a Third-Party (3P) Seller Central Amazon selling program in the U.S. and International markets to offer products to consumers on the Amazon marketplace.
  • Functions as subject matter expert and implementation lead for all projects across the flywheel content, conversion, reviews, logistics, and brand registry.
  • Implement a holistic content creation and execution strategy to take their brand presence to the top of its category.
  • Defines and manages a yearly promotional calendar by product, including every day and promotional prices.
  • Manages and optimizes Amazon services agencies ecosystem.
  • Provides analysis and forecasting for all digital 1P and 3P channels including promotional activities, seasonality, and growth trends.

Marketplace Expansion

  • Responsible for launching and operating business to all retailers and social media marketplaces.
  • Analyze strategic opportunities to Implement and develop new marketplace channels according to company strategy.
  • Guides partnerships with vendors for micro-fulfillment, content operations, creatives, review management, etc.

Technology Capabilities

  • Implements and maintains all digital commerce tools such as product syndication, reviews management, retailer portals, agencies reporting, etc.
  • Identifies the latest services and pieces of technology to improve consumer experience and grow the digital commerce business.

Skills/ Competencies/ Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deliver software/process training
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create and optimize processes
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused
  • High degree of collaboration & teamwork

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in business, design or programming is required.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of related work experience, digital content and web technology.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in building a retail brand on the Amazon 3P platform.
