We are hiring an MSP Client Lead for a full-time onsite role in New York supporting managed services clients. This position works closely with clients, internal technical teams, and leadership, and is ideal for someone who thrives in ownership driven, fast evolving environments.
This is a high visibility, client facing role where you will own day to day relationships and ensure projects, proposals, and ongoing work move forward smoothly. You will not be doing the technical work yourself. Instead, you will lead communication, coordination, and outcomes across clients and internal technical teams.
What you will be responsible for
Client ownership and communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned MSP clients
- Lead client calls, check ins, and status updates
- Set clear expectations around scope, timelines, and next steps
- Translate technical updates into clear, client friendly language
- Build trusted, professional client relationships
- Follow up consistently and proactively
Project and workstream leadership
- Own projects from kickoff through completion
- Define scope, deliverables, priorities, and timelines
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to keep work moving
- Identify risks and blockers early and escalate when needed
- Step in quickly during client issues or urgent situations
- Ensure progress does not stall due to lack of direction
Proposal and opportunity follow through
- Drive proposal development with leadership and technical stakeholders
- Review proposals for clarity and alignment with services
- Walk clients through proposals when required
- Track open proposals and follow up until decisions are made
- Maintain strong written communication and documentation
What we are looking for
- Prior MSP experience is required
- Strong understanding of IT and managed services terminology
- Experience in a client facing delivery or account role
- Confident communicator with both clients and technical teams
- Organized, proactive, and ownership driven
- Comfortable working in a company that is growing and refining its processes
- Able to lead conversations and drive next steps without waiting to be told
