We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Payroll Specialist, responsible for an array of essential tasks ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll system and providing top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process payroll transfers bi-weekly using ADP WorkForce Now.
  • Compile and input various payroll data, such as taxes, bonuses, deductions, and timekeeping information (WorkForce).
  • Skillfully manage employee wage garnishments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough audits of HR interface to maintain precise payroll records.
  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to validate payroll data accuracy.
  • File payroll records meticulously into the HR database.
  • Generate bi-weekly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
  • Provide support during year-end processes and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with addressing payroll inquiries promptly.
  • Stay updated with evolving legislation related to payroll matters.
  • Uphold departmental information security protocols.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience or equivalent education/experience combination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Preferred experience with ADP applications, such as WorkForce Now.
  • Familiarity with Report Writer and Rapid Runner Reports.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft and WorkForce (Time & Attendance Systems) is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus.
