Position Summary:

An outstanding opportunity awaits within The Client’s Information Security team for an individual enthusiastic about contributing their dedication, fervor, and analytical prowess to bolster the Identity & Access Management (IAM) division. The role of Authentication Engineer necessitates a deep comprehension of IAM standards, industry-acknowledged best practices, and associated tools.

The role involves the daily management tasks on the PING platform, collaborating closely with stakeholders to facilitate application integration onto the IAM platform, and upholding efficient processes and governance. This includes proactive issue identification, partnership with technology and business stakeholders on IAM strategies, and team collaboration for remediation, standardization, and automation.

Impact Highlights:

Collaboration spans various business sectors to uphold enterprise Single Sign-On, Multifactor Authentication, Application onboarding endeavors, encompassing Ping configuration management, and meeting end-users’ Web access management requisites.

Your Role and Influence:

• Thorough grasp of Authentication and Authorization concepts.
• Proficiency in supporting installation, configuration, and SSO integration, particularly with PingFederate/PingAccess.
• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Protocol, and WAM (Gateway) Integrations.
• Automation expertise employing Ansible/Python/Shell Scripts.
• Knowledge of Ping One APIs supporting MFA.
• Proficiency in ITIL processes for Change, Incident, Problem, and Release Management.
• Understanding of LDAP server (PingDirectory and PingDirectoryProxy).
• Awareness of load balancing, clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Fundamental grasp of certificates, SSL handshakes, and encryption.
• Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of Java programming with PingFederate and Ping Access API is advantageous.
• Exposure to UI technologies (such as Angular, JavaScript, CSS, Velocity Framework) for enhancing UI pages.

Candidate Requirements:

• Over 5 years of IAM (Web Access Management) experience in complex, large-scale cross-divisional or cross-enterprise programs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; or equivalent experience and education combination.
• API development experience.
• Practical involvement in Identity & Access Management utilizing PING IDENTITY product suite preferred, though not mandatory.
