As Director of Sales, you will report directly to the VP of Sales and play a critical role in defining their growth strategy, meeting revenue goals, and leading sales initiatives within a specific industry vertical and territory.


  • Drive revenue generation within a designated industry vertical and territory, focusing on targeted accounts and aligning our solutions with customer requirements.
  • Elevate opportunities at both strategic and tactical levels by advocating our comprehensive value proposition to decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships, understanding their strategic objectives and providing tailored solutions to meet their goals.
  • Develop and respond to RFPs, create proposals, and cultivate partnerships that add value to both our clients and the organization.
  • Gain internal support for customer initiatives, assisting in building business cases and aligning internal stakeholders to develop new feature sets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, contributing knowledge and insights to team discussions and strategy planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a cohesive and customer-focused environment.

Education, Training, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in outside sales of enterprise software products, specifically within the Supply Chain or Life Science sectors.
  • Solid experience in relationship and business development.
  • Familiarity with Analytics, AI, Business Intelligence, and cloud/SaaS technologies.
