We are seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer to join our team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Bash, helping build out the internal achitecture and/or infastructure for the team’s systems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working with Python and Bash
- Strong background in Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools (such as Ansible or Puppet)
- Knowledge of networking protocols and services (such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP)
Job Details:
- Work on Linux system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to increase efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system infrastructure
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards
- Monitor and maintain system performance and availability
