Job Title: Workplace Solutions Engineer (Microsoft)
*This position is on-site in Reading, PA*
As a Microsoft Solutions Engineer you’ll collaborate with the Solutions Delivery Manager for project management. You’ll design, create, and support Microsoft 365 for our hosting services. You’ll architect modern workplace solutions, maintain security, monitor system health, and troubleshoot issues. You’ll lead migrations for highly technical clients, record customer information accurately, manage tickets for timely resolution, and proactively address recurring incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Design, support, and enhance our Microsoft 365 hosting services
- Architect modern workplace solutions and improve system security
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents
- Lead client migrations with high technical demands
- Stay updated on emerging Microsoft technologies
- Implement security-minded Identity Management solutions
- Design complex architectures using Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune
- Deploy Microsoft 365 security solutions
- Integrate Microsoft Modern Workplace components into business processes
- Maintain strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud solutions
- Provide level 2 escalation support in after-hours on-call rotation
- Manage ancillary systems like email security and backups
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, and Azure Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft Security Solutions and networking concepts
- Deep understanding of email systems, including Microsoft Exchange
- Proficient in Windows Server Operating Systems
- Extensive experience migrating clients to the Microsoft Cloud
- Ability to work on-call and adapt to new technologies
