We are looking for a motivated and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our production team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of product quality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and a passion for process improvement and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Production Support: Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Equipment and Tooling: Design and oversee the installation of tools, jigs, fixtures, and machinery to improve production capabilities and reduce waste.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all processes meet industry standards and company quality requirements. Develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste and increase efficiency.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, process documentation, and engineering change notices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, production supervisors, and quality assurance teams to align engineering activities with production goals.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production processes adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes like CNC machining, injection molding, or welding.
    • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and experience with process optimization.
  • Problem Solver: Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify production issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Lean Methodologies: Experience with lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma certifications are highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  • Project Management: Experience leading manufacturing improvement projects or new product introductions.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in Manufacturing is a plus.
