We’re partnering with a growing and innovative manufacturing organization to hire a Commodity Manager based in Easton, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional who wants to take ownership of key commodity categories, influence global sourcing strategy, and play a direct role in shaping a high-performing supply chain.

The Opportunity
As a Commodity Manager, you will lead sourcing initiatives across critical categories, ensuring supplier performance aligns with business goals while supporting both current operations and future product development. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance teams to drive efficiency, reduce risk, and support growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies across assigned commodities
- Evaluate, select, and manage domestic and international suppliers
- Lead contract negotiations to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance
- Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage procurement activities within ERP systems, including purchase orders and supplier data
- Partner with engineering and operations teams on new product development and process improvements
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while strengthening supplier readiness
- Travel up to 15% to support supplier development and relationship management
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing at least two commodity categories such as plastics, metals, electronics, or packaging
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of supplier management
- Experience working with both domestic and international suppliers
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and product specifications
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, with strong analytical skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
Compensation & Work Setup
- Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 annually
- Full-time, onsite role in Easton, PA
