We are seeking a Color & Materials Specialist with a strong background in design and client relations to play a key role in crafting high-end automotive interiors and exteriors. This position blends aesthetic innovation with client engagement, ensuring that every vehicle meets the highest standards of design and customization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop color and material concepts for vehicle interiors and exteriors, ensuring quality in texture, gloss, and finish.
- Work directly with suppliers to coordinate material development and master sample releases.
- Oversee client build journeys, ensuring customization selections are accurately captured and executed.
- Manage client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for updates and feedback.
- Create detailed client journey documentation, guiding customers through the customization process.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address any operational or production-related concerns.
- Stay ahead of design and styling trends, ensuring all selections meet regulatory and feasibility requirements.
- Handle customer inquiries with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring satisfaction at every stage.
What You Bring:
- A portfolio is required for consideration.
- At least 5 years of experience in color and materials design for automotive, product, or textile applications.
- Experience in high-touch client relations, sales, or customer support, ensuring seamless service throughout the customization process.
- Strong understanding of production color/material development for luxury or performance-focused products.
- Degree in Industrial Design, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 per year
- Benefits package including 401(k) with matching, health insurance, and paid time off
